jasmine Originally uploaded by dibujandoarte

inspired by the beautiful leaves Teri does, during the weekend I wanted to try some, then this is my attempt to draw a gardenia and its leaves. i'll keep on insisting on flowers and leaves...

Beautiful work, Martín. I love the background too. I like the mix of fine lines in the foreground with the soft blobs in the background. Great use of the medium!

very nice. the background doesn't detract from the plant and puts the focal point on the flower and leaves. great job.

This is so pretty, Martin! Lovely colours that work very well together.

Martin-
It's very lovely! I like the detail
and shadows in the flower and leaves, and the looseness of the background-very nice use of color!

Thanks all of you! It encourages me to keep on trying botanical subjects. I find it quite hard. Thanks!
