values study
i'm working on this image by Tisi Garofalo, making a values study. it took me about 6 hours to draw and fill it, using squares to help me draw the contour (i'm made to), but then i've filled it with pencils seeing at the printed image and it's still unfinished. i hope it won't take me another 6 hours to complete it. (it's only a 25 x 35 cm drawing...)

who doubts it's a clean hand?
hehe, we were made to carve a free shape out of a bar of white soap, and my lack of creativity made me turn to human figure and avoid free shapes. as i started to carve i decided to make a hand. Of course it took me some more hours at home to continue it, i only looked at my own hands as a model you can guess why the poor ressult, but i liked the experience so i guess in the future i'll be trying to make some other hands in different poses and try to improve, and even try to carve the fingers from the other point of view, which now i left undone.
