still life - gouache 50x70 cm
another quick still life painting as exercise. too colourful i guess, but sometimes gouache is unpredictable; when dry colours vibrate so much more that while painting, i always forget to bear that in mind...
next week we're supposed to be painting some cacti in class...

HB-2B-6B pencils - 50x70cm. did it to make up for two drawing classes i was absent.
i felt like going back in time when i drew more realistic but have lost training... it took me about three hours and i still see it unfinished.

bottles in the sea
i made the drawing in black with markers, scanned it and coloured it with the PC, to use it in the promotion of a musical show, then i also made an engraving out of it for school. i already engraved the other two colours i'll print but still haven't made any colour printings, just the black part which in fact will be the last one to be printed in the process.

i made this sketch yesterday while looking at a magazine about the master Toulouse-Lautrec. there was a photo of Yvette Guilbert, who inspired him in many of his works.
i cropped the sketch in an ellipse to make it look like an old image..(?) XD
